Radalla-festivaali – Juhlat ihanat | Konsertteja | Yle Areena

Radalle is a concise fanfare-like piece for cello and piano. The piece begins and ends by pattering its beethovenian tautology ("es muß sein") that it lives and dies by: CCCCC. C muß sein. This is how C must be. CCCCC.
The piece was commissioned by the Radalla festival as the opening piece of the opening concert of the festival in the Kauklahti chapel in Espoo, Finland, on August 27th, 2026. It was premiered by the brothers who founded the festival, Artturi (cello) and Iivari (piano) Aalto. A humble thank you for the commission from the composer!
The sheet music will be available through the Music Finland Core service later in 2026.
